Our Story
It was a beautiful sunny day, birds chirping, we met at a little café with really good coffee and sweets. We looked into each other's eyes and instantly knew, love at first sight…
…just kidding.
It was January 2021, right in the middle of another COVID lockdown. Romantic cafés and chance encounters were off the table, so the only available venue was Nikki and Vanessa's crib. The plan was set, he arrived, and somehow between lockdowns, uncertainty, and probably too much time indoors, something special started.
Fast forward to March 2021, we officially became us. Not long after, we hatched a slightly crazy plan to move overseas together. On our second anniversary, we packed up our lives, took a deep breath, and made the big move to the Netherlands.
It wasn't always easy. There were challenges, adjustments, homesick moments, and learning how to build a life far away from everything familiar. But it has also been one of the most rewarding adventures of our lives.
Now, more than three years later, we've grown together, learned together, celebrated wins together, and created a home together. Along the way we've met incredible people, made unforgettable memories, and discovered that when you're building a life with your best friend, even the scary parts become exciting.
Our cup, in every sense of the word, is incredibly full, and we can't wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you.
